DJ Honda | H II
This hip-hop album coming from an Asian who moved to New York City recently gives away no trace of his Japanese roots. This album, released in 1999, interprets and complements his guest stars well in a jazzy, mellow mood which spread throughout the album, which features KRS One, DE La Soul, Mos Def and Keith Murray, among others.
Although H II can do better, the transcending of geographical borders cannot be better personified than in the guise of DJ Honda, who creates music that speaks across all cultures and places through his productions.
