Aaron Carter arrived at Changi Airport Terminal 1 at about 11.45pm. He checked into Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel.

Thursday, 17 August 2000

We rushed down to Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel around 7.30 p.m. after Ronan Keating's autograph session at HMV. We waited for about half-an-hour and to no avail. We decided to take a walk around the hotel and to our surprise, we saw two girls who looked like Aaron's dancers. To make sure, one of our friends went up to them and asked. YES! They were Aaron's dancers. Even though we didn't get to meet Aaron, we left in excitement because we went to the right hotel!

Friday, 18 August 2000

This was the day for Aaron's party at Fort Canning Park. We went down at about 3 p.m. with a big group of friends. By the time we got there, there was already a crowd and we queued up. The party did not start till 6.45pm, which was stated on the tickets. We were given a Philips goodie bag each. It was not until 8pm when everything started. Jamie Yeo from Perfect 10 and MTV VJ Donita Rose hosted the party. It was very crowded and 'squeezy' even though we were at a big open space. Beads of sweat rolled down our cheeks. At last, when Aaron came, all the fans stood up. In order not to be 'kicked' by them, we followed the crowd. Aaron performed "I Want Candy", "Bounce", "The Clapping Song" and "Iko Iko", from his latest album, "Aaron's Party(come get it)". Aaron can really work a crowd. After all those songs, he stripped off his overalls to reveal his white baggy singlet. The fans were so excited to take a picture of him that they all rushed forward. Poor security guards. The exciting part was the throwing of beach balls towards the crowd. Four huge balls were thrown while Aaron did the singing. We only got to touch the balls once. Then there was two fans fighting over the balls. The party ended at around 9pm. But we did not leave the place. We stayed to talk to the person in charge and found out that Aaron has to do his homework every morning. We also found out that he will be going to Plaza Singapura on Sunday.

Sunday 20 August 2000

We went down to Plaza Singapura instead of HMV. The autograph session only started at 3.45 p.m. He was late because he had a stomachache before the HMV autograph session. In Courts, we were surprised that we were sitting so close to him. Lucky as we were, we took photos with him. He is so cute. He likes to make funny faces in front of the camera.

Monday 21 August 2000

Aaron had a field day at the Perfect 10 98.7FM for an "Up Close and Personal" interview and at Television Corporation of Singapore. There was a show, "Tonight with Gurmit" at 7.15pm and it clashed with Mandy Moore's showcase. Aaron started by singing "I Want Candy". He was asked to taste some candies and there he went again with the funny faces of his.

Tuesday 22 August 2000

Tuesday was the last day that we can meet him. We went down to Vivamusic hub at around 6.45 pm for a short interview session. He was late. Nevertheless, we were happy to meet him once again. He was interviewed in a room, which resembled a TV box. At about 7.30pm he went to e-zone for a game of Laser Quest with his fans. We were supposed to go for second round but he left after the first game. When he left the place we saw his van outside and we went to say our last goodbyes.... Aaron left the following day for Tokyo at 8.15am. And we were wondering when will be the start of our next boyband chasing....
