The most eye-catching fixture in Vivamusic Hub, The Box is modelled to look like a futuristic television set. A bright orange couch as well as the state-of-the-art DJ console with its funky looking lights decorates the interior. From the inside, it's a “birds-eye“ view of everything in Vivamusic Hub. Not only that, The Box filters out noise from the Hub, creating an intimate and cosy atmosphere. Clean and simple, this is the setting for many of Vivamusic's exclusive “one-on-ones” with famous stars.
Artistes that have been “seen” together with Vivamusic's very own Internet Jockeys in The Box include popular German DJ Paul Van Dyk, Aaron Carter, Grace Zhou Hui, Makiyo and local Chinese band Chou Pi Jiang.
Not only that, The Box also sees local DJs spinning their music during the weekends. DJs from Infused Productions, Solace and Elustix have been hitting the decks and giving the audience an eclectic mix of dance tunes ranging from progressive to trance.
Besides being the venue of various interviews and performances, The Box is also wired up for any “live” webcasts. In fact, for the launch of Vivamusic Hub, all the events that were happening on that day were beamed, in real-time, to anyone around the world logging into our website. All the music and videos that are played at the Vivamusic Hub also comes from The Box.
