H.O.T(High-Five Of Teenagers) |
Forever - 2001 H.O.T. Live Concert In Seoul Olympic Stadium
Forever H.O.T
this exquisitely-packaged double CD album will leave music listeners a lingering sense of the strength of Korean pop idol group H.O.T's live performance. This is definitely a value-for-money collection for any H.O.T. fan. In 1999, H.O.T. created history in the Korean music industry with a grand concert. In 2001, the group challenged themselves to the same site which they performed on 2 years ago - Seoul Olympic Stadium - and generated even more heat and excitement amongst the audience than the last concert. Besides performing multiple songs from their fifth album including Outside Castle, My Mother and Time Will Tell, H.O.T. also presented to the eager crowd new singles Persia Black Hole and You & I.
Apart from the recorded version of the concert on the CD, fans will also be delighted by the 38-page CD booklet which includes pictures of the concert and Mandarin lyrics. Not only that, this album comprises an additional music video of the song Always My Love and the prelude to the concert. H.O.T. fans can also download unique H.O.T. wallpapers and screensavers onto their computers. One of the most interesting gimmicks of the album is it comes with a special password for fanatics to log on to H.O.T.'s website and catch previously unreleased clips of each group member voicing their opinions. Perhaps this is the best time to take an additional language course in Korean if you want the privilege to extend to you.
H.O.T - made up of 5 good-looking young guys Woo Hyuk, Tony, Jae Won, Kang Ta and Hee Jun - has produced an outstanding resume with just 5 years of experience under their belt. Having received numerous awards, H.O.T. is perhaps also infamous for setting such record firsts in the industry for instance, fastest sell-out concerts, most number of spectators, most passionate fans and most number of security officers needed during their concerts. But alas, all good things must come to an end and H.O.T is no exception. Having created a stir amidst the fans with news of their breakup, members Woo Hyuk, Tony and Jae Won have since moved on to greener pastures at Yee Jen Media leaving Kang Ta and Hee Jun at SM. Although the two remaining members stressed at a press conference that H.O.T. will still be around, with members split into 2 rival companies, there's probably a fat chance of all 5 guys ever performing on the same stage again.
