The SSO performs more than 90 concerts in two seasons a year. Besides performing on home ground at the Victoria Concert Hall, the SSO has also been to venues like the ever-popular open-air concerts at the Botanic Gardens and to the office and shopping crowds of major shopping centres.

The coming of the new millennium marks an important milestone for the SSO. To keep up with the technology advancement, SSO aims to bring the orchestra even nearer to its audiences. Imagine listening to classical pieces by Mozart or Vivaldi right through your computer's multimedia speakers and at the convenience of your own home. Pretty interesting isn't it?

This page will feature delayed webcasts of every SSO's concerts and events and video clips of their performances in the 2001 season. It will also serve as another platform for the SSO to reach to a younger audience and their hopes to become the “People's Orchestra”.
