John Coltrane | Standard Coltrane
This man was responsible for bringing a new sound and style to
jazz. He used it to apply to the standard sounds of American
music. This recording was recorded by the superb band comprised
of Wilbur Harden on the trumpet, Red Garland on the piano,
Paul Chambers on the bass and Jimmy Cobb on the drums. Coltrane
performed Henry Nemo’s "Don’t Take Your Love Away From Me",
Fred Ahlert’s "I’ll Get By", Richard Rodgers’ "Spring Is Here"
and Bronislau Kaper’s "Invitation" with his trademark style
