The debut album by Hisham is a mix of exotic Middle Eastern textures an hi-tech sophistication. Synthesizers, samplers and sound effects were used to create a new sound called "Desert Soul". Not only that, full bodied orchestrations, sinuous snake-charmer reeds, flamenco strumming, mighty bass lines and fiery Arabic percussion result in a novel sound called the "Desert Soul".
