"The Bachelor" is a romantic comedy from New Line based on the
Buster Keaton comedy, Seven Chances. Chris O'Donnell stars as
a confirmed bachelor who has 24 hours to find a bride and get
married in order to collect a $100 million inheritance. Opening
in Singapore on 10th Feb, this movie has undergone much publicity
in town.
The soundtrack to The Bachelor features eclectic songs like
David Byrne's version of "Don't Fence Me In, " Buster
Poindexter's "Hit The Road, Jack, " Billy May's "Hernando's
Hideaway" and Louis Prima's "Just A Gigolo/I Ain't
Got Nobody." More romantic tracks like Jane Powell's "First
Time Ever I Saw Your Face, " Bob Marley's "Could You
Be Loved" and "You're The First, The Last, My Everything"
by Barry White round up the appropriately quirky and sentimental
music for this romantic comedy.
