This R and B group from Los Angeles have some strong words to say
to women who translate into money grubbers. There is even
a reference to TLC and Destiny’s Child; both groups had released songs about
men who failed to satisfy women’s monetary needs.
Somethin’ For The People was born when Fuzzy met Sauce and the both
of them began writing music together. Multi-instrumentalist
Cat Daddy came into the picture after the duo moved to Los
Angeles and the three of them have been working together ever
since. They had released their first single in 1995 and have
done songwriting and producing for artists like Brandy
and En Vogue.
"Issues" promises an album with an equal mix of ballads, raps and hip
hop beats which make the album very much palatable. While feminists
may find this a tad offensive, "Bitch With No Man" and "Now
U Wanna" are singles worth listening to. In fact, the former
is being added to urban radio playlists in popular stations
around North America as we speak.
For all the men who need to lash out at superficial women
who are only concerned about fame, status and fortune, then
this is the album for you.
