This side project by the lead singer of the alternative band Blur provides varying tunes within the range of zombie hip hop, creating a lovely bounce between experimental sounds slightly remiscent of Beck. Their first single, “Clint Eastwood”, has been receiving increasing airplay on the local radio waves and it remains to see if the Gorillaz can sustain their animation off the CD cover and on the charts.
