Kid Rock | The History of Rock
While it took some time for Kid Rock to
gain some recognition (and along with it a whole lot of money)
in the Billboards, he has not hesitated to release to the
world yet another obnoxious yet endearing album for rock fans.Bob Ritchie grew up in a small town of Romeo, Michigan where
he took an immense interest in rock and rap and took it upon
himself to combine these two elements to create a truly soulful
album. While "The History of Rock" is a compilation of his
previous works before he hit rock paydirt, there are two new
tracks to the album. "American Badass" and "F**k That " remain true to the
roots of Kid Rock, complete with that angry, beer-chugging
attitude and feisty guitars. The tunes, although slightly remiscent of
Alice In Chains, still manage to capture the identity only Kid
Rock can pull off.
