Staind | Break The Cycle
One of rock's hottest bands has just released their third album, "Break The Cycle". Although the cover suggests that explicit content is found in the album, but after hearing the whole album, it is otherwise. Their sounds are all out hard and loud but the songs has its own special meaning.
Take "Waste" for example. It is a song written for a fan who took his own life. "The kid's mother came to a show and stood outside our bus crying. She wanted to talk to me as if I could give her the answers. The song is me questioning how everything could have been so bad, being angry at the reason's for this kid's misery, and also being hurt and angry that he didn't have the strength to pull through," explains the lead singer, Aaron Lewis.
