Tool | Lateralus
Lateralus breaks a five-year silence from one of America's leading heavy metal/rock bands, along with an extremely fascinating, not to mention neat, transparent album cover graced by the human anatomy (and that is quality plastic running through your hands, mind you).
Tool, as Fred Durst from Limp Bisket has described so aptly, is in a class of their own, their quality untouchable, their many fans affectionately embracing their hard ranting, crowd raving lyrics about how one can rot In empathy. Full of surprises, yet inspiring to many who have been witness to the death of many other classic rock bands like Nirvana, Lateralus is hitting the heart where it hurts most, then nursing it back to health again. Definitely a gem.
