Six friends, plus musical instruments of the Irish sort, results in a tightly packaged album. Filled to the brim with Irish jigs as well as mellow tunes, with the beautiful vocals from the lady of the group, Margaret Cunningham, “The Wild Music Of The Gael” is as raw as you can get.
Listening to the album, I was reminded of that Irish jig scene in “Titanic” with the fiddle, accordion, whistle and viola playing in unison.
